EL INGRESO EN LA ACADEMIA TUVO LUGAR EN UN ACTO CELEBRADO EN EL DRAPERS’ HALL DE LONDRES EL PASADO MES DE NOVIEMBRE, QUE ESTUVO PRESIDIDO POR EL PRÍNCIPE FELIPE DE EDIMBURGO Y SIR JOHN PARKER PRESIDENTE DE LA ROYAL ACADEMY.
NUESTRA MÁS CORDIAL ENHORABUENA AL NUEVO MIEMBRO DE LA ROYAL ACADEMY OF ENGINEERING, QUE ES EL PRIMER SOCIO DE LA SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE MECÁNICA DEL SUELO QUE CONSIGUE EL RECONOCIMIENTO DE ESTA INSTITUCIÓN.

El Prof. Antonio Gens ha sido elegido miembro (Fellow) de la Real Academia de Ingeniería del Reino Unido.
Este año, se han elegido 60 nuevos miembros, seis de ellos internacionales. La ceremonia de ingreso, restringida sólo para los miembros de la Academia, tendrá lugar el próximo día 7 de noviembre.
